DeZine and Print United
DeZine and Print United is a user-led print and design service.
After two years at the Leeds Social Business Centre, Dezine and Print moved to The Vale Day Centre in Hunslet. The Centre is run by Leeds City Council Adult Social Care (formerly Leeds Social Services) offering a wide range of activities and support for mental health service users mainly from south Leeds.
The day centre kindly gave DeZine and Print some office space so it could continue to keep the business going.
DeZine and Print United is now based at Whingate Business Park. It produces high quality work which includes design and print at a reasonable cost.
The DeZine and Print United project is totally run by volunteers with the aim of creating places for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems.
It designs and prints all graphic design work including newsletters, business cards, flyers, posters and conference packs.
DeZine and Print United have been awarded grants from Yorkshire Forward and Unlimited.
